I had a gallbladder operation in Feb. I feel fortunate to have had the chance to be treated by Mr Carino who guided me through each step towards the operation. I was anxious about the procedure and unsure about the recovery, but Mr Carino explained to us all the steps in details, the benefits and the risks. After the operation I stayed overnight and had the best care I could wished for including Mr Carino' s visit before being discharged. I followed his advice during recovery period, did not experience any particular pain except feeling a bit tender around the small wounds area. I have returned to work after 2 weeks. I am happy to recommend Mr Carino for his expertise, professionalism and care received.

He calmly explained the issue and the procedure for the surgery. He came to see me before the operation to explain what was going to happen and the next morning before my discharge, to update me on what he’d done. I felt informed from the first consultation to the final one, after the surgery. The whole process was much more relaxed than I expected and the professionalism and calm manner of the surgeon played a big part in that. I would highly recommend him to anyone.

Two weeks ago I underwent a laproscopic repair of a recurrent inguinal hernia. Everything went well and my recovery is very much on track. I am particularly pleased that at no stage have I needed to take painkillers. Seeing Mr. de' Liguori Carino before and after the operation gave me a feeling of confidence and trust and he gave me details of the operation and what to expect during my recovery period making it clear what I should and should not do during the following weeks. This was appreciated because I now feel fit enough to do more than I should!! I chose to consult with Mr.de'Liguori Carino because of his published experience with the various types of surgery relevant to my condition, such that he would be able to choose the most appropriate treatment for me. In short, I have nothing but praise both for Mr. De'Liguori himself and for the treatment I underwent. Obviously then, I would have no hesitation in giving my personal recommendation and send him my very Best Wishes for his continued success

I found Mr De' Liguori Carino helpful, empathic and very professional. Due to negative press regarding my procedure, (a bilateral inguinal hernia) I became very concerned and asked for a further consultation. Mr De' Liguori Carino was able to see me straight away and was particularly helpful in alleviating my concerns. My surgery went well and I only took mild pain killers for just over 2 days. My recovery has been swift and relatively painless. I would like to thank Mr De' Liguori Carino for his professionalism and personal care. The staff team at Highfield were very professional and friendly, throughout and made an otherwise daunting experience much less so. I would gladly recommend him and his team.
